Janet Fishman specializes in production stills for theatrical presentations. As a photographic artist, Janet profoundly relates to the artist on stage, and she blends this artistic energy into photographic masterpieces of the theatrical performance. Because of her broad familiarity and understanding of theater, she is uniquely talented to cover the show’s story and the characters on stage. She vividly captures the expressions and the emotions of the actors and the individuals they are portraying.

Janet has provided production photography for many shows in the San Fernando Valley as well as the Greater Los Angeles area. A partial list of shows include: “Nobody Runs Alone” (Boone Foundation/Amigos Production); “A Stoop on Orchard Street” (Greatlife Productions); “Much Ado About Nothing” and "I Remember Mama" (Shalhevet Productions); and “Memories, a Concert”—a benefit for the Alzheimer’s Association (Rosenthal Productions). In the last few years, Janet has photographed more than 30 shows for Golden Performing Arts Center’s children, teen, and adult acting companies. These Golden shows include: “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Annie,” “The Music Man,” “Anything Goes,” “Good News”, “42nd Street,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “The Wiz,” “Crazy for You,” “Grease,” “Oklahoma,” and “Bye Bye Birdie.”
